The programme is being delivered (in the main) by Trudy Arthurs. From time to time, some of our associates will also be involved. This page will give you some background info on Trudy. Info on our Associates will be added soon.
Who is Trudy Arthurs?
* Since June 2001, I have been running my own coaching business, have worked with over 1,500 clients (a mixture of 1:1, group and teleclass coaching and workshops). I have worked with clients in the personal, career, sales and business, leadership and team development coaching areas.
* From a standing start in June 2001, I have grown my business by 25-30% year on year; during this current financial year, we are on target to increase turnover by more than 45%. This year my business became a limited company, and I now have two associates, and plans are in place to take on three more coaching and three related associates by end-2007.
* During May 2000 – 2002 I went through a physical, emotional spiritual and mental recovery from a diagnosis of terminal cancer. In May 2005 I received the ‘all clear’. For the 12 years prior to 2000, I ran my own private-client complementary therapy business. My family background is highly entrepreneurial – three generations of a family business (now closed); my seven siblings have all been involved in their own businesses.
* I have shared a major public platform with Terry Waite (former Beirut hostage) as part of the Ulster Cancer Foundation Celebration of Life, addressing a congregation of 1,500 people; facilitated workshops and seminars in Belfast, Dublin, London, Los Angeles and Denver; have appeared on BBC TV, RTE, UTV, BBC Radio 4 and local radio. Have been featured in Irish News, Newsletter and North Down Spectator – and now have a regular fortnightly Coaching Corner column in the Spectator.
* Over the past three years, I delivered 2 major training personal development and career enhancement programmes with Castlereagh Enterprises. Originally the series was scheduled to offer six programmes, but due to public demand, an extra programme was added. Coaching/mentoring programmes have also been successfully delivered to BIFHE Entre Champions and Students, as well as the Women Into Self Employment Programme. Similarly, we are currently delivering a powerful life-changing programme to the members of one of Northern Ireland’s major charities – now on the third series.
* In early 2006 I designed, launched and currently deliver the 9-month long coaching/mentoring/training programme The Extraordinary Women Entrepreneurs Programme. This is a programme designed specifically for women entrepreneurs. The second phase of the programme completed in Summer 2007, and the third series will be launched in early 2008.
* As a passionate believer in continuous personal and professional development, every year I budget an allowance to attend appropriate training programmes. My most recent qualifications include Certification by a UK-based coach training organisation which qualifies me to deliver training to in-house and external coaches and managers, to a nationally recognised standard endorsed by the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Professional memberships include:-

Being (somewhat!) web-literate, I have designed and built a number of websites for my business, and regularly send out an e-newsletter to my database of 1,200+ names. I also founded and now co-host with one of my associates the Belfast Conversation Café – www.belfastconversationcafes.com a forum for women to connect, grow and share outrageous crack!
Other Websites:
* Homepage for the overall business – still under development
www.belfastconversationcafes.com
* Information-focussed website for my regular Conversation Cafes
* Personal career and life coaching website
Why am I doing this?
Because I’m absolutely passionate about inspiring women to realize they are already extraordinary. That’s it, in a nutshell.
